Reserving and Planning
Your Canyoneering Adventure

2007 Calendar

Many routes are planned in advance.  However, if you have a date and route you would like us to guide, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you and/or your group.

The calendar shows dates available for reservations. Some are dates planned in advance by us and others are available for you to choose the route you would like to take. If you see a date that is available and you want to reserve it, please contact us via land line or email so we can schedule it . Additionally, mid week trips are available on a by request only reservation. If you have a mid week trip you would like to take, please contact us and we will try to work it out.

Most scheduled dates show 2 days (1+). The reason for this is due to the length of time and distance to and from the route site. We typically travel down the evening of the first day, spend the night, canyoneer the second day and return home. Not all routes require a nights stay. Many times we can leave very early the day of the hike and return home. However, we have found a full day trip is extremely exhausting and many times compromises safety. Therefore, one day trips are the exception rather than the rule (but, can be accommodated under special circumstances).

The number of spaces available indicates how many more guests we can accommodate on a scheduled trip. If "FULL" is indicated, then we cannot take any more reservations. However, we can place you on a waiting list and if there is a cancellation, you will be next in line for that trip.

Route ratings are for your convenience in choosing a route, risk level and skill level appropriate for you or your group. You will find detailed skill level information by going to the Route Information page. Please don't over estimate your abilities when signing up for a trip. We try to group guests for trips by abilities so they can get the most out of their adventure.

The cost of each trip varies depending on the number of guests and the length of stay. Below you will find a chart listing the cost of each adventure based on the average number of days and number of guests. This can vary depending on personal requests.

Additionally, the cost of each adventure will vary depending on the amount of personal equipment you bring versus our equipment used. You may use your own equipment as long as it meets our approval for functionality and safety. Some personal equipment items you may bring to offset the cost are:

  • daypack / backpack
  • water bottles
  • sit harness and descender
  • tent
  • sleeping bag & pad
  • helmet
  • rappelling & climbing gloves
  • wetsuit (as required)

A detailed list of all required items provided by us and / or you is found in the FAQ page.

NOTE: Due to environmental impact, we limit our group size to 7 including our guide(s).

TPC Sports practices "No Trace" canyoneering. Please do your part in helping us leave the canyons and surrounding areas as pristine as Mother Nature intended.

Due to the increase in fuel costs lately, it has been necessary to increase our guided tour fees. Sorry, we are all feeling the burden of the high cost of petrol.

Payment   A deposit of $50 per person is required to reserve a space on a 1-day adventure and $100 for a multi-day. If the trip requires commercial lodging, you will be required an additional lodging reservation fee. Balance is due the day of the trip.

Fees are subject to change without notice.

We currently accept PayPal, personal checks, bank transfers, money orders and of course, cash.

NOTE: Some adventures will incur additional expenses if commercial lodging and meals are requested. This will depend on the accommodations selected by the group. However, camping is always an option to keep the cost down.
